The dodge Ram and other Dodge cars are notorious for having HID problems, HID flicker, and other HID errors. This is no longer an issue with Stealth Auto anti flicker HID capacitors!
These are useful for vehicles that get a Flickering or strobe effect when installing after market HID kits . These capacitors are used in the rare case that your car does not support after market HID headlights.

These capacitors are electrical components and are not guaranteed to work, each vehicle is a little different and the flickering issues they are experiencing might not be corrected by these units. Also incorrect installation will void the warranty of these units.
- These HID Error Code & Anti Flicker Capacitors are used when you're experiencing issues with you aftermarket HID Kit. The two most common issues these capacitors are made to fix are light flickering (stobe effect) and "bulb out" indicator lights.

Flickering Issue: The flickering problem happens when your vehicles computer notices that the bulb has been changed and is no longer the original one. So it sends a pulse to the lights to try to fix the issue and that pulse of power looks like strobign or flashing to us when we see it.

Low beam lights w/ DRL function work like this. When your lights are in the off position a pulsed voltage flows to your factory halogen bulb giving off a dimmer light. When you install HID's in the place of your halogen bulb it just causes the HID capsule to flicker. The Anti Flicker Capacitors will even out the factory DRL current and stop the flickering.
- Bulb Out Issue: Many newer cars have an indicator light to warn the driver if one of the headlights has burnt out. Now since HID kits run on a lower wattage then normal Halogen headlights your car will think the headlights have burnt out. This will in return turn on a "Bulb Out" indicator light, This usually does not effect the lights function but is annoying. These capacitors take place of the watage loss and and fool the car into thinking the halogen bulbs are still installed. After install the "bulb out" indicator light will then turn off.
